  • Week 1: Core Concepts, Mindset, and Tool Onboarding
  • Week 2: Excel/Sheets Data Entry, Formatting, and Text Functions (LEFT, RIGHT, CONCATENATE, and TRIM to clean messy data).
  • Week 3: Basic Logic and Aggregations (SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, COUNTA, and logical IF statements).
  • Week 4: Advanced sorting, filtering, and conditional formatting to spot trends instantly.

Month 2: Relational Databases & Data Extraction (SQL)

  • Week 5: Introduction to Databases. Understanding tables, rows, columns, and primary keys.
  • Week 6: Writing basic SQL queries. Focus on SELECT, FROM, and WHERE to filter data.
  • Week 7: Aggregating data in SQL using GROUP BY, HAVING, and functions like COUNT(), SUM(), and AVG().
  • Week 8: Combining tables. Master INNER JOIN and LEFT JOIN (how to pull related data from different places).

Month 3: Business Intelligence & Data Storytelling

  • Week 9: Spreadsheet Power Tools. Master Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP.
  • Week 10: Introduction to Data Visualization. Learn when to use a bar chart vs. line chart vs. scatter plot.
  • Week 11: Building your first dashboard using a free business intelligence tool like Tableau Public or Google Looker Studio.
  • Week 12: Capstone Project & Portfolio Building. Tie spreadsheets, SQL, and visuals together.
