The 90-Day Beginner Curriculum
This 12-week roadmap is designed to take a complete beginner from zero to an operationally solid, reliable virtual administrative assistant.
Week 1: Core Foundations & Orientation
This week is entirely about establishing the fundamental mindset, vocabulary, and core workspace setup needed to operate professionally.
Week 2: Deep dive into Google Drive and OneDrive architecture. Setting up logical folder structures, naming files uniformly, and understanding sharing link safety.
Week 3: Microsoft Word & Google Docs formatting. Creating clean, professional documents with clear headings, page numbers, tables of contents, and custom margins.
Week 4: Basic Google Sheets & Excel hygiene. Freezing top rows, formatting data types (currency, text, dates), removing duplicates, and alphabetizing lists.
Week 5: Professional business email etiquette. Writing clear, polite, and brief responses for executives, handling customer inquiries, and managing spam.
Week 6: Calendar optimization. Setting up recurring meetings, adding buffer times between tasks, blocking out focus time for your client, and handling rescheduling requests.
Week 7: Automated scheduling software setup. Mastering Calendly or TidyCal, setting up custom availability, mapping booking forms, and linking them to video software.
Week 8: Internet research techniques. Using advanced search terms to find company profiles, local business details, or competitive data for your client.
Week 9: Lead Generation data collection. Sourcing clean contact emails and building highly scannable prospect databases in Google Sheets.
Week 10: Basic data entry and proofreading. Checking spreadsheets for errors, fixing broken links, formatting lists, and ensuring absolute data accuracy.
Week 11: Virtual meeting moderation. Setting up Zoom/Google Meet links, managing chat boxes during calls, and writing concise meeting minutes/action steps.
Week 12: Project compilation and staging. Gathering your best exercises into your "Executive Readiness Toolkit" folder, writing simple descriptions for your work, and practicing clean file sharing.

About Instructor
I bring over 6 years of hands-on experience as a Virtual Assistant and Workflow Automation Specialist, currently supporting teams at Royvins Freelance Academy and Rapha Nature Products in administrative operations, executive support, and social media management. My core strength lies in helping founders and small business owners streamline their day-to-day operations; from inbox and calendar management to building automated workflows that save hours of manual work each week. I'm proficient across the tools that matter most in this space: Google Workspace, Zapier, HubSpot, ClickUp, Airtable, Monday.com, Trello, Asana, Slack, Calendly, and Canva. Beyond the technical toolset, I have a solid grounding in project management fundamentals; including Agile principles, prioritization frameworks like MoSCoW and RICE, and practical experience building and managing project boards from scratch. What I enjoy most is breaking down what can feel like an overwhelming set of tools and workflows into clear, manageable steps, which I think translates well into helping others build confidence and competence as VAs themselves.
